32 Weeks

I’m now officially 32 weeks along! Only 7 more weeks to go, but I have a feeling these weeks are going to go by real slow, especially my last 4. I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday which went well. My sugar was good and Im measuring right on time. This week I start my twice weekly non-stress tests. That is where they hook you up to a fetal monitor to monitor the heartbeat and contractions. I did this with my last pregnancy as well. For me, it kind of signals that the end of the road is near.
Oh the pain of it all… things have really started getting painful lately. It hurts to walk anywhere, for any length of time, and it sucks. Sleeping is starting to get uncomfortable. I didn’t have the sleeping issue when I was pregnant with Chris. Oh well though, not much longer!
I have not bought anything for baby as of yet. Weird I suppose, as most would have started shopping like months ago! I will shop probably for the next two weeks. I do not have much to buy though, only about $500 worth of gear and clothes!
Other than that stuff, not much else is going on right now. Things seem to be going smoothly so far. My next appointment is Feb. 7th. I’m still waiting for my doc’s office to call me with an official date and time for my surgery — they lack the enthusiasm that I have to get this thing scheduled. They’ve promised me for a month and a half now they were going to do it. Yesterday the lady in the office told me, “I’ll do it first thing in the morning, and give you a call tomorrow”. Well it’s almost noon and no call. She said this twice before too!
