Just waiting for Andrew to arrive!

Well Im doing well so far… not much longer to go now, just 37 days. In the last 2 weeks we have had so much going on. We had new leather furniture delivered and had the whole house re-carpeted, so we’ve been extremely busy with that! Time is flying by, especially since we are keeping busy. I guess this is my “nesting” mode…. wanting to get the house prepared in time for the new arrival.
Last week we went to Toys R Us and bought all the baby stuff, which happened to be on sale thankfully! We got a pack n play with full bassinet, double stroller, ocean wonders take-a-long swing, crib mattress, bedding set, bath, and some other stuff. We’ve decided that baby Andrew will sleep in our room in the pack n play bassinet and alternate between that and the crib. He’s ultimately sharing a room with his big brother Chris, but if it doesn’t work out, we have a backup plan.
Friday night I started to get ill, and Saturday was a horrible day. We were getting our carpet laid and I took Chris from the house to my grandmas. I was puking all day long, and again, it was the kind where I couldn’t make it to the bathroom. Horrible! I’m slowly recovering and Im getting better today.
I’ve started my twice weekly NST’s and they are going good. Today I had my 4th, and my doctor’s appointment. The ladies up at Southshore are so nice! I can’t wait to experience a c-section there…. hopefully it will be better than at Wyandotte Hospital. My next doctor’s appointment is in 3 weeks, and OH MY GOD, after that Ill only have 2 weeks left…. seems so unreal to me. My doc is out of town so that’s why it’s so far away, and I wouldn’t feel very comfortable having internal exams with doctor’s Ive not met before.
The doctor had to ruin my visit today with making mention of my weight for the very 1st time this late in pregnancy. I’m totally aware of the fact that I need to lose weight and plan on starting a regiment about 6 weeks postpartum. I didn’t really need him to tell me that. After all, I was doing well on my own before I got pregnant.
Anyhow, I will update again when something interesting happens!! :o)
