Yes again. Again I am sick… right before the holidays. After the new year is over with I will have my tonsils removed. I don’t care how much pain I will have to endure. Two weeks of utter pain is better than infections that last days happening every month. I just went to the hospital for the 2nd time in 30 days. They upped me with some more dilauded and sent me home with more vicodin. I also got a steroid shot (which is new to me) and another antibiotic shot. I had 3 total shots today.
I had no idea that dilaudid was the most powerful pain medicine out there. I was under the impression that it was the least powerful. The not-so-nice fat doctor today informed me of that. She also acted like I was a druggie in to get my high too. I was like yeah right, i’ve had the stuff like 3 times in my life. I’m sorry I have a chronic condition with my throat! I promise to get it taken care of.
I have two very important new years resolutions. 1) Get my tonsils out! 2) Lose the last 50lbs. I’ve been very lazy in the last two months, slacking on my workouts because of all the illness mostly. I’m so close to the end and so close to happiness it’s killing me. I’ve lost 100lbs, and I just have that last 50 to go.
I sent some amazon gift certificates to Matt’s mom and sister. They haven’t got the GPS unit yet, and I was hoping they would get that first. I hope they enjoy it. The exchange rate sucks butt. Our dollar is = to .50 pence (cents)… so everything costs double. 75pounds costs $149!!! It’s so expensive to travel there too. Gas is already insane over there, but by time you factor in the exchange rate, a tank of gas costs $80USD.
I think we may go down to Florida for 3 days after Christmas. It will be a whirlwind trip, but I think it will be fun. We’ll leave at like 3a.m. on the 26th and be back for the 29th. We will go to Disney while we are down there though. Matt wants to scope out the city and see what apartments they have down there and what looks nice as well.
I have to be back for new years so Julie and I can have a bash for New Years Eve. We haven’t done that in so long it’s going to be weird! What’s weirder is we are planning this huge party just for the two of us. Too bad it can’t be like old times where we have all the girls come by.
I walked in the house tonight from the hospital and Andrew was like, “Mammmmmmmmma”… that made me so happy. Chris always does that but it was the first time Andrew has done it. He’s getting to be such a big boy now.
