Happy Anniversary to my extremely patient appreciative, giving and thoughtful husband. It's been a rough five years, we've both learned lessons, I learned it til death nearly took us part. Pay attention to what's in the background of our photo. For the past 9 months I'm so much happier, so much better, and now that my custody drama is over, I'm almost living at half capacity. Jason Mellen is my rock!
As for half capacity, my Iron level was "1", my ferritin was "2" and my hemoglobin was just under "8". I quote those numbers because Anemia is affecting every aspect of my life, and look up any scale and you'll understand why my brain is just putting along, ADD meds not working, so tired you can barely wake up, no appetite, muscle movements hurt, high heart rate, etc, so I was falling apart. Today I finished up a series of iron transfusions, but I won't know how I do for about a month. I'm just glad the IV nonsense is over, and hopefully I won't need another blood transfusion.
So in celebration of hopefully feeling better within 3-4 weeks I did something stupid and colored my hair metallic purple. No, i'm not a fan, and it's the worst color to recover from, it may require serious salon care as soon as they grey/red starts growing in, in like 2 weeks lol.
Also, Jason made me do an easter egg hunt for his gifts for me. I'm just not as clever!
