Every single day my heart sinks for my friends up there in my hometown in the Detroit area, living just literally 8 miles south of Detroit (Hence the city named Southgate). Give strength to all the nurses I know, the lab techs, phlebotomists, doctors, housekeepers, the lesser acknowledged transport people, EMS, nursing home workers, CCNAs, LPNs, poor people considered essential at grocery stores to keep us fed, etc. The national news is fixated on Wayne County and I see all of these places and it's horrifying for me to worry at such a distance. I pray for you all. #wearedetroit and we get through it all! ???? The first time in humanity, the world is in with us all. This is our strength, this is US. In the words of "Journey"… for those of us born and raised in South Detroit, don't stop believing!
