I'm not sure if anyone has ever seen this article I wrote for the News-Herald for JROTC in high school in 1997 following a drill competition at Central Michigan University. I can't remember if that's the trip that everyone pissed off Sgt. Brickey and everyone got in trouble for some shenanigans on the bus lol. I was a special writer for this article. I am on far right with the chest of honors. I think I'm the highest ranking, because the other girls were class of 1999.
I've always been a huge writer, and my teachers knew that too so they hooked me up with the local newspaper, still one of my favorite things I did. Another favorite moment in high school is when I was in typing class and Coach Sak was teaching it and I taught him how to type lol. I clocked in at 122wpm while he had a piddly 40wpm. LOL.
If anyone knows these ladies on social media, feel free to share and tag them.
