Time for some writing :)

Well, this summer is coming to a close finally.  The boys were much better behaved this summer than last, but they still never went out and did anything!  Ugh!  So where to start….
I got my 4th tattoo this week. I let my BFF Julie do it since she has dabbled in tattoo artistry for a longtime, but I was her first after a rather long break from doing it.  The tattoo turned out really well.  I suggested some additions to it that we could do later on, but this is a great start.

So well, that’s my ugly foot, lol.   That tattoo was very impromptu because I had artwork drawn and traced onto the wrong carbon paper so we really didn’t have any method of getting the design on my back.  I will go back to Julie very soon to do the big tattoo.
I may have to rethink my tattoo all over again.  It took forever to come up with what I had and the chinese statement on it.  It was a tattoo for me to hold a message to myself, since I am the only person that see’s my back (really!).  I wrote “One heart divided by two”.  Now, along with the picture it was supposed to represent two sides to my personality.  The strong side, and the weak side.  SOMEONE (lol) I know decided to go and figure it out already when it was supposed to be something that would eat on everyone’s brains forever until they figured it out. I figured i’d be good for at least 10 years, but nope, I got one day out of it!! ha ha…. Coming up with the saying was the hardest part because I’m very good at taking any words I write, and manipulating them so that they can be construed in 1,000 different ways.  So i wrote the “one heart divided by two” so that if anybody ever figured it out, they would then be left with clue #2 which is figuring out what that means.  For the sake of a single meaning, I will just say whatever people read from it is all in the eye of the beholder, because I already know what people think in general!  I already caved and told the underlying story of “why” and “what” and it didn’t take too long, lol.  So as far as my darling friend goes, and others to come, what you take from it, is how you feel about it but not necessarily how I feel about it!  It can mean absolutely anything and you’ll certainly know if in any particular moment it applies to a situation!
For Halloween I should dress up as the Riddler (Jim Carey style!) because of my cryptic messages and blogs!
Sleep going well, treatment going well, health—always just so-so.  I have lots of docs appointments coming up soon.  Next month there is a week straight of docs visits.  I hope that this ends soon.  I’ve added like 3 new doctors to my already long list.  With autumn coming soon, I fear for the cold weather.  Last year was super awesome because it didn’t snow until February or so…. that was a miracle.  But, towards spring we had a really cold spell, so I couldn’t leave my house because it would be like instant frost bite… thanks to Reynauds Phenomenon.  I hope it stays mild for a while this year!
Can I say hip hip hooray for school starting in 2 weeks??  I can’t wait!  The boys have been ok this summer but really, they need to get out and do something.
I’m going up north next week to walk the Mackinac Bridge.  I have no idea how I will do it, or how I will get my boys to walk the whole length, and I am afraid of that bridge just to drive on it, but I imagine we’ll be ok.  I have a goal for this trip and my goal is to take as many beautiful pictures, not necessarily of normal things either.  I’m very limited around here on what to take pics of.  We’ll hit up Tahquamenon Falls and I’ll work on that for a little while. I was going to walk the trails but with the 2 girls I don’t think that will work.
I hate large groups of people in general and under no circumstances do I go to a destination when I know there will be big crowds, but this is something I’ve wanted to do, and the kids want too.  I plan on taking thousands of photos!  I rented a lens since I only just found out this evening that there are places that do rent!  So I’m renting a $1700 lense for $100 for 2 weeks.  I plan on going to the International Dark Sky park just west of Mackinaw City.  It’s only one of six in the entire country for it’s dark skies.  I needed a telephoto lens because my basic lens don’t zoom worth a squat.  So I got a Sigma 50-400mm lens that weighs an additional 4.5lbs on top of my 2.5lb camera. I hope my tripod can hold it!  Here is a picture of a moon that I shot at 105mm.  This photo is zoomed in quite far.  I cropped out the moon to enlarge it, but in the normal pic it’s a teeeny weeeny bright spot in the sky!  I like this one some, you can see the definition in the craters at the bottom, but with my new rental lens, this picture would see definition across the whole moon.  All I need is clear skies, unlike tonight where there was thick haze!!

So what else…. Matt’s job search is still on, and yes he’s still gainfully employed at GE!  He used to work for a company called CA (Computer Associates, Inc).  They were a good company. He worked from home and that was it.  They have contacted him back for a position as principle architect job.  I’m quite excited about the pay range of $120,000-$150,000.  We’d be lucky.  I’m sure he’s qualified for that job, but until he gets a strong backbone and start showing people he can be a leader, nothing will happen. Medical benefits are the same, which are much better than what we have no.  The job is also 50% travel…he he… Not sure how to handle that!  We’ll see!
Well it’s 2a.m. I suppose it’s bedtime after I listen to a few choice songs, which when all combined represent my life this last month:
