RIP Ron Stach – Lifelong Friend & Classmate

This was my posted tribute to a very good friend who has always just been there!  He was found deceased by his neighbor today, May 30th, 2025. He knew my ex-stepfather (who knew Ron well!) and my sister Beth texted me immediately.  When I notified  Facebook groups about his death, there was a substantial outpouring of support.
Ron, you were a constant in our lives from elementary school, middle school and high school to adulthood. You were the best man at my wedding, and you were around for all my kids births. I always remember fixing your computer or trying to set you up on dates! We accepted you for your heart when many passed you off. You helped us out when we needed it most, especially every time we moved. A constant sight at Meijer, Tim Horton’s, that restaurant by Mt. Trashmore. You were happiest when your dad was there and it showed when we caught up with the two of you shopping at Meijer in Southgate. I know when we moved to Florida we got distant, but I always kept you in my heart and mind. You were never meant to die this way, you should have never been alone. I wish I could pay to give you the service you deserve because you don’t have the family you ever needed. You will forever be remembered by me, your pal Jen. I will miss you! Rest in peace my friend!
