Poem – A Collision of Worlds

A Collision of Worlds

I have a name – but does that name mean anything? Now it does.
I’ve got no problem child, am a semi-good wife that finally has a ring.
I never deserved it as he held it reserved waiting for purpose.
I paid my toll in life on false reason just to reunite.

The only lie told was using the word guilty just in time.
A fight I lost and lost again that saw me in the state pen.
Now I’m one of them, nickel and dimed,
using rhyme just killing more time.

Now changed forever, for the better and a positive outlook.
Now a good life, living within a semi-good world, but a life still worthy of a book.
Like that famous snap, is this reality? Who’s reality? Which timeline?
In the world past, I was stabbed in the back.
A knife used with the likes of Stormbreaker.
I survived while parts of the world lay dying, getting weaker and weaker.

The mad make a fad out of killing the innocents
siding with radical left and right wingers.
Filled with greed and hate slingers.
Race being just some of the reason.

There’s no eye for an eye when your blind.
Cop killers, killer cops, Jew haters and others.
That is real treason.
Sentenced to death, giving no real reason.

I’m not kind when I voice my mind, it’s real, ‘tis the season, and it’s pleasin’.

I wear no bling, and like the world,
my purse does not go ching ching chang with the sound of change,
it’s all damned as falsehoods are hurled…

I’d rather spend my time blowing off a paper head with led,
Feeding the rage pent up in my head.

The turmoil, the democracy, the Trumped, and the world.
From all the death and the damned, feeling slammed, underestimated.

So unreal, my eyes are closing before the world collapses without understanding the why’s.

Death to hate, let’s end the all the cries.
