I can’t wait for this nice weather to be a permanent fixture!!! They just said that we could get snow later on this week. I want it to be nice out forever. The weather is causing everyone to be under the weather, including me. I’m suffering from this aweful head cold or something. My nostrils are swollen (literally!) so I can’t breathe. I have this aggrevating cough as well.
Chris & Andrew are finally better, they got over their pink eye rather quickly. Within 3 days or so it had cleared up. Nobody else caught it either, which is a good thing. We struggled with the boys for 5 days straight holding them down putting drops in their eyes.
Today was Chris’ special day at school. It was also the day we celebrated his “un-birthday”. Because his birthday is in June they choose to celebrate it in the school year sometime. I have no idea why they chose April over May. We aren’t going to be gone for the entire month of May, so they could have squeezed it in there. Explaining to Chris that his birthday is still two months away while they are singing happy birthday to him in school is hard to do.
Matt is still working from home. Every persons dream job! He sits in the basement all day with his laptop and fixes programming problems remotely for companies like Visa and Diamler Chrysler. He may have to go onsite soon, which sucks because it’s in Auburn Hills and that is a 100 mile round trip daily. His 2002 Cavalier as 105,000 miles on it, and i’m fairly certain it won’t last long making that trip daily! We’ve not had one major thing go wrong with it yet… so chances are sometime soon something will!
I’m still waiting to hear back from Wayne State University. I was able to log into the system and it told me I was free to register for classes… but I have not received any form of acceptance letter yet. I’m really eager to transfer over and start. It will get more expensive though. It is $236 per credit hour compared to $55 per credit hour at Wayne County Community College. More student loans in my future…..considering I need about 100 more credit hours to graduate!! I already have $2500 in loans i’m paying back.
