Well, not a good update. I crossed the line from my cat Squeaker being a happy cat to now having him act like he's in pain. The time has come to say goodbye to my son. He is my son. He may just be a cat but he was my companion thru the worst of my life and saw me through three times in life support, a couple tragedies, my mom dying, a divorce and abandonment, and we were like a tag team. His real name is Aro from the movie Twilight. As the last word written in breaking dawn, he will be my son Forever as the page turns in life.
I made him participate in making a stepping stone at 4 am this morning. I will always love him, for a thousand years. I'm glad we gave him 2 loving weeks at home. It's like weeping over my mom again. I'm really down about it.
I can't watch the process, I suffer from death and dying related PTSD and I needed to come to terms with it. I hope he gets to rest in peace and I'll always love him. Forever.
