Well apparently Farmer Jack died in January of cancer and complications from a triple bypass, such a shame, he wasn't that old. We will get corn planted though this year instead of a crop of soybeans so I'll look forward to lots and lots and lots of fresh corn and plenty to freeze… before it's harvested for cows 🙂 lol. It better taste good 🙂 ha ha. The poor farmer was only like 70 but I think he owned like the entire road and all the fields around it. I was wondering where all the new farming equipment came from though…. probably a decent life insurance. Still though, he was someone's dad and husband, but definitely a real hard worker. and I remember when we first moved here he introduced himself when he thought our house was on fire because of an insane fire Matt was burning, lol. The land behind our house is loaned to the farmer to enhance the already billion acres he has so taking a few ears of corn won't hurt much 🙂 I took my share of soybeans to roast and eat 🙂
