Today was off the charts with customers. At one point there were groups of people lined up at my shop. I made 2 people's day, a child and his father's day, and it just felt good. I surprised this child with a pick of 2 roman coins and he picked one worth 80 bucks! I made a child fascinated with Roman history and wanting more in a 20 minute span. I also had a customer seek me out for my appraisal on gold. He handed me 4 bars of credit suisse gold bullion and a 1 ounce gold coin. The bad news is his coin was counterfeit and I could tell immediately upon holding it. The weight was off by 1/4 ounce so I did my tests and told him well he had a counterfeit peace dollar. But the good news is his other gold was worth $16,000. I had so many good stories from today.
Jason surprised the new Creperie with a coin and their logo on it as a surprise ane they loved it!
Another happy coin convert!! Made both our days.
