Today is a Magic Kingdom day! UndercoverTourist.com gives it a yellow "neutral" rating for today which means I can expect it to be a day of frustration, but not quite to the level of tears (red days, lol). Somehow I also managed a Crystal Palace character buffet reservation which I did only 4 days in advance and that was a miracle. It's just Matt and I with our 4 kids and my niece (Paul's kid) Rachel. I always told myself that I'd never be that mother that dressed her kids up as princesses to go there, but for some reason I went very overboard at our over-the-top fancy schmancy Disney store and bought each girl a full Disney princess outfit. Caitlyn has Aladdin's Princess Jasmine, but only because she thinks it's the beautiful dress Elsa wears in the last half of the new movie Frozen, but nobody has that dress except in pajama form, which I bought just because and she'll probably end up wearing that instead. For some reason they only the dress she wears in the first half of hte movie, and I don't like it plus Disney wanted $200.00 for it. I'd spend that on the other one just for me to look at on display only, but no way otherwise 🙂 Either way she's gorgeous. Rachel has the Rapunzel set and matching shoes. I have to say though, the most gorgeous dress belongs to my little tomboy Ava as Cinderella (or "ella" as she calls her). When I was done I told Matt to go checkout and to not tell me what the total was! I got some pretty tiara's on sale at Hobby Lobby for $5 yesterday in the wedding section, and I will glitter their hair and faces just like if I paid a million dollars for each child at the bippity boppity boo salon inside MK. But, it never rains in Florida in the winter, except for when I have visitors so there's a good chance each girl will be watered down by 4p.m. There's no stupid Mickey party tonight so we could in theory stay til 1a.m. but I just want to be able to see the Fireworks up close again without having to pay $150 for a ticket allowing us access after 7p.m…. I'm pretty sure we're good today. Here are some pics… the girls with Caitlyn in her Princess Jasmine outfit and Ava with a sucky in her mouth as 'Ella who will probably resist all efforts to beautify her today! The picture of the dresses hanging up in the store, the one on the left is a blah rendition of the $200 dress on the right…. and the other pic is Elsa and the dress you won't find except in pajama form for now. It's going to be a crazy day and it has been one heck of a up and down week. Rachel has never been and she is so excited so I can't wait and I can't wait for my bestie Julie Happinessisbliss to get here on January 30th and go again the next day, I got her booked and we get to spend 3 whole days together, which is not enough time but it's better than nothing!
