They call me Silvermember. Lol. So I had an unfortunate smelting accident a) involving melting down silver and b) unintentionally causing iron pyrite to explode like a 4th of July mortar. So I'm covered in sporadic burns that are pretty deep, at least 2nd degree, especially the one on my arm which is large. Today's agenda was to open shop, get a tetanus shot, get referred out to a hand surgeon and burn center. In the meantime, a light narc for 3 days (no percocet, I hate that stuff) and a huge box of 5% lidocaine patches. Nothing seems to touch the nerve pain. Oh and they discovered a ganglion cyst which developed after the car accident right on my right knuckle. Orlando Health – Melbourne was really swift in treatment, so much better than Health First. Unfortunately, their providers are mostly in Orlando, but hopefully I can find these docs locally.
