Thankfully, I'm still alive from yesterday, not sure why but I'm still here.
I'm sharing this from @[1018252724:2048:Julie Falk]'s post. I have absolutely no sympathy for any of my Facebook friends that act like the person who is highlighted, in fact, I believe they are getting exactly what they asked for. If you don't believe the steps being taken are for our safety, you could die. If you fight it, then you deserve no sympathy, just as this man gets none. Sure, his family will now think twice about his thoughts and behaviors I hope for themselves, but the people who are idiots and jeopardize health, they not only jeopardize themselves, but the rest of us. These folks tend to be lost in a reality that is their own and not based on science or fact.
This part of my post isn't political, but by god, when that man in the oval office goes to another mask factory, and even the people giving him the tour are wearing masks and he deliberately doesn't, he is spreading the wrong message. The hypocrisy in it, is he makes sure he's tested daily, where here testing can still be hard to come by. He'll believe in testing, but it's only important for him. In fact I've seen a few of my Facebook connections that have the equivalent of a 6th grade education all of a sudden start posting pro-Trump statements, all of a sudden post big words and statements copied from others that I know for a fact can't understand and prior to this were not radicalized. The things being spread are radical at best.
One person said on their wall and were convinced by someone that hydroxychloroquine was 92 percent effective at curing covid-19. Well fact, I happen to know Remdesivir is where he should have put his stock into, except his pocket book wouldn't have expanded. Now we have wasted adding a useless medicine to the national stockpile that will expire in 1 year. I have another who says one of the world's leading scientists and professionals, Dr. Fauci, is a fraud, a liar, etc.
Fauci is forced to say whatever Trump tells him too at those old press conferences, so yes at times he mirrored the message of the president that it would never come here, but he has stated on other network news that really you have no choice on that podium and this man has a distinguished career that Trump could with a single hand destroy.
He is smart to speak outside the white house and I'm glad that he will interview with just about anyone who asks him. That's an honest guy. He has great character, which is why most of America watched the press conferences to get his truth. He tried to push his Truth and President Dump tried to stop him. Then magically no more press conference rallies after he dangerously (and embarrasses Dr. Birx) by suggesting we disinfect our lungs.
This comes from someone who now regrets voting Trump into office. I never thought about how he could handle a medical crisis to this level. I thought being a businessman would help the economy. Maybe it did, it won't be his legacy though. Arrogance, narcissism, lack of empathy, and killing more Americans to save the economy will be his legacy.
I fear for the state of this country. We were not and still not ready to open. The other countries opened because they had national protocols in place. We have nothing. For Trump to sit down and say this will magically go away without a vaccine even is so stupid. I know people in the White House and even his republican supporters and dying each time he destroyed their chances of re-election, but have to play nice for him.
A&E on demand has a documentary called "The Trump Dynasty". He calls the media fake news, why? Because this man openly admits on that documentary he would call newspapers and create media hype around himself to boost his ego and businesses. We have a man sitting in the oval office who probably couldn't ever be hired in the real world for a job at Walmart just from his background check alone, but yet he sits in the white house. How many impeachable offenses has he committed during this crisis? Many… it seems like a new news story daily emerges with corruption linked to him. But everyone should watch that documentary – you will see how and why he became this arrogant monster. He was the rejected child of his father and his mother said she hoped he never became president. This is a man who admits he was a terror in school. His real world businesses, most went bankrupt. He's racist and a bigot, very well known.
My point is, if you defy and deny, you will get the punishment you deserve and it will hurt those around you, but strengthen the message that they tried so hard to be against. How many lives did this man's word put in jeopardy. Nobody will ever know.
Morning rant done 🙂 Oh, Shad, I know you'll read this, I'm not talking about you at all, lol. Not one bit (where we differ in political opinions).
