So I make it back to Lakeland area. It was a horrific drive. The weather was appalling, and Atlanta cost me a wheel well, some bambi remnants, and almost a live bambi, my nerves, and my desire to do road trips lol. My nerves are shattered. I dropped about 1200 F bombs and had dash cam of the insanity. Of course, I gotta review that dash cam to see how bad my mouth runs because I know I'm recording and giving commentary, plus Moose kept getting thrown throughout my SUV due to all of the idiots…and I'm telling him sorry all the time, so it's pending F bomb review. The great part is I call everyone idiots and stupid morons, but then I whip out my giant camera with one hand and try to shoot an aircraft landing at Hartsfield then admit on there I must be stupid too, but at least not in the worst part of traffic. The aggressive driving really got to me though, for 12 hours I was doing over the speed limit, and I had semi after semi and car and car and so many close calls being sideswiped. My hands are blistered from the grip of death. Being forced to speed or die sucks.
My new friend I helped escort through on her first lone road trip after meeting randomly at an I-75 rest stop bathroom and then talking for a long time at a Waffle House Scarlett Viers (hilarious story) can vouch for at least omg, I can add Toledo to my list of horrible never ending construction and/or you have a good chance at dying list (and MI people complain? LOL)… Toledo, Dayton, Cincinatti (pretty much most of Ohio), and always Atlanta. Fear them. LoL. I have some great dash cam of her close calls with being sideswiped by semi's. I yelled to an Ohio trooper to start pulling the semi's over.
