My mom is having the "radical mastectomy" on Monday. They found a lump. She had a mammogram. She has not had a biopsy, MRI or CT scan to see what the lump is. She's not even seeing an oncologist, just Wyandotte's general surgeon, who just wants to do the biggest surgery. Am I wrong for thinking this is not right? This is the most disfiguring surgery and she is ok with that. Something isn't right.
