My mind is with my daughters and son today. The first few were Avas 1st birthday (8 years old yesterday), and it's one of those fake happy family pictures… not kids of course. The cuteness of my girls by our pool, remind me of me, and remind me that they were actually interacting with my mom right before she died. Worlds fall apart too easily.
