In 2016, I survived severe septic shock twice. Once in March, once in June. Caused by a hospital. Most do not survive. It's worse than 50/50 chance. Nobody cared because nobody knew what it was. I am the face of septic shock. I was on life support at the end of December in 2016 – Survived a 3rd time. My last memory of 2016 is having my lungs mechanically inflated but I was not conscious. Until you know someone who's had it, it's a killer nobody is aware of. I can't describe the horror of a 106 degree fever.
