I'm glad to hear this…a few years back @[1018252724:2048:Julie Rodriguez Harris] and I went to the Detroit location for the Human Society to get her hamster put down (lol.. kinda!), and we watched this man bring in 2 beautiful german shepherds to be put down. He told the clerk they were his wifes dogs and he wanted them gone before she got home from work as revenge for something. The staff was just like, ok. Those dogs could have been adopted out easily, but when a person brings in an animal to be put down, they don't argue with you. At least now, there is a screening process for dropping off animals!
