I was so excited when Jason got me the Ancestry DNA kit, and even when I thought what I had was a clear picture generations back when I finished my tree in 2004… it turns out, my own father has not a single trace, relative, or anyone connected to me by DNA. Something in the back of my mind my whole life as a strawberry blonde in family of very dark hair told me my dad was the postman. Since my parents are gone, I'll send my brother the kit. If his tree isn't the same as mine, what gives. I'm 2/3rd of United Kingdom descent and 1/3 "Germanic Europe" and looking through those names, they belong to my maternal grandma and grandpa. My paternal's had American Indian in them. Why not add another saga in my already 10 books of life, lol.
