I put an ad online for a math & reading tutor for my son who is in 1st grade… $30/hour a couple hours a week @ the library and nobody has responded. I requested that they have a teaching certificate or was a sub for a school district and verifiable credentials… but that's not too much to ask for that much money is it? Most teachers don't make more than about $19/hr on average. Is it just a bad time of year?
