I bet you wouldn't guess that central Florida has a major bear problem! A woman this morning walking her dogs in one of the neighborhoods not far away had her face mauled off by a bear. IN Seminole County there was 700 bear encounters last year, but my county, Lake County, holds the record at over 900 encounters/complaints! I would have never guessed, but at the same time Lake County, Florida does remind me exactly of northern Michigan except with a few palm tree's scattered in. Lots of state parks and pine trees, with sandy ground and all. And here I thought gators and creepy bugs were all I had to worry about…. lol. Julie Happinessisbliss this must make you ecstatic! Ha ha!
