Dear baby Jesus, I have never had a real tree die in 3 weeks ever, water topped off routinely. By time I got the lights off it looked like a nice lawn had grown inside and the poor tree was bare outside. I stopped turning lights on 4 days ago because I did a flammability test and the brach lit up entirely over our sink. I'm sorry to say but, next year will be fake. Ugh.
