As the Big 3 auto companies in Detroit shut down, it reminds me of my favorite class in college, Michigan History (Julie Falk) and how in WW2 they shifted production from cars to bombers. I've heard speak of history repeating itself, as in the days of Willow Run, except not bombers, medical equipment! We shall see if they make good use of the down time!
