A smack in my 14yo son's face for causing me more than great bodily harm and after subjecting me to so much bullying like i'm back in Gerisch has me down to proving myself against a Florida law that states… and trust me when I say most all who know me know I record everything in my life to back up my stance:
"Under the law of Florida, a parent or a person acting as a parent cannot be charged with simple battery against their child. The crime must either rise to the level of child abuse, or it is not illegal. This is because Florida does allow a parent to use corporal punishment in the reasonable discipline of a child. It is only where the parent's conduct is motivated by malice, where the punishment is excessive, cruel, or merciless, or where serious injury results, that a person is subject to criminal prosecution, regardless of whether or not that person is the child's parent."
I don't abuse my kids, period. We all get frustrated, but most of us got beat down when we were little. My spoiled rotten selfish oldest gets all he wants and grew up with family my other 3 didn't get to enjoy. He got dealt with as much as I possibly could as a human mother this day and age without violating any law. However, I won't go to say without… my son needs his jaw jacked for doing what he did to his mother because he's a coward like his father. I praise every day I taught the other 3 right 🙁 I don't raise bullies because I was the bullied. I am ashamed of what my 14yo is and I don't tolerate it. I'm doing all I can to fix it, but his revenge is a horrifying life-altering experience I never put my own mother or step-father in.
He was just so stunned at the smack heard round the world his first response was "abuse!".
Lost.
