A New Year

… May 2007 bring good things for all of us!  I went to Julie’s house tonight alone to celebrate the new year.  While I was there I was reflecting on how not good this year has been. I mean in ways it’s been good, but in other ways it’s been “ehhh”.  I hope 2007 goes well.
Anyway, Julie and I sat and watched the animal planet on TV until about 11:30 then we turned on the new years celebrations.  We had some queso dip that she homemade along with some chips and a couple glasses of wine.  We were going to have some rum and coke but never made it to that point.
I left at about 12:15p.m. because I was getting tired.  During this whole time we played a game of scrabble.  Usually I always win because I am really good at spelling and grammar, and I have a much larger vocabulary.  Julie can’t spell worth a darn, so it’s usually to my advantage.  Like tonight, she said, “do you spell deaf with one f or two f’s.” I said one f, so she proceeded to spell it “DEF” … I jokingly said, “um no hun, that’s spelled “deaf”… I lost tonight for some reason.  Ah well…. one loss   I always have fun playing scrabble!
I have a cold today… which sucks.  I wish I could go one whole month without any illness at all!!  Oh, I have been officially diagnosed with pancreatitis.  I have no clue what it is but I have to be further evaluated for it.  I’ll write more on it when I feel like figuring out what it is.
