I have great news and a it makes tomorrow's New Years Eve much better…. my mom will be home tomorrow, and she's not dying anytime soon! She's still in bad shape, but she doesn't even need chemo or radiation again, just this one pill she was forced to stop taking due to cost 8 months ago, which she can now again get. My team of docs spent a long time and did a couple nuclear tests and an MRI today and determined that while there is some spread, it's nothing that isn't manageable. I asked the doc, is she gonna die, and he responded, well, that's the for the big guy upstairs to answer, but that in his opinion that while she is still stage 4 breast cancer, all hope is not lost! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers and I'm happy I can finally rest easy tonight and go to sleep for the first time in 3.5 days. 🙂 I was so happy I went outside and went swimming with my niece Rachel for 30 minutes when it's only 59 degree's out, but I finally felt like trying out my new GoPro Hero 3 camera in the pool! I have lived here 5 months and have never been in my own in-ground pool… pretty sad!
