Turkey prepped, homemade cheese potatoes semi-baked, sweet potatoes semi-baked, and dessert ready. Ah, and Lysol'd the kitchen because I squirt turkey juice everywhere, lol. Tomorrow all I have to do is throw it all in the oven, bake the rolls, make the stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. I will have lots of leftovers because my kids don't eat real food, my mom will eat a few bites, Beth and Terry will be full from their prior meal, and I can't eat what I make too much (butter butter butter!!) and it will make me sick, so I'm counting on my brother to vacuum it all in and take home what is left, LOL. Let's hope this year he decides to use silverware to eat, and not his hands (gross!). I just have one of those families that has dysfunctional dinners, lol, no manners, nothing. It's comical always, but I still miss sitting at dinner with my grandma. Everything I make is everything she made. I make sweet potatoes because my grandma loved them. Nobody else likes them, but I make them the same way my grandma did and I enjoy them like she did… kinda a tribute to her.
