Wayne State University

Today I finally received my acceptance letter to Wayne State University!!  I’m so excited that I finally get to start a proper institution!  I’m registered in the pre-law program, but I can always change that.  I’m still not sure what I want to do, but the next year or so will be a deciding factor for my future plans.  This will be a major change for me.  I have never done the university thing, only community colleges.  It will be a shock not only in my social life, but also in the pocket book.  WCCC’s tuition is only $55 per credit hour, as where WSU is $236.  One thing that’s for sure is when i’m done, I really have to get a job :o)    I have a long time before that happens though.

My grandma is in the hospital again with a bad case of pneumonia.  Hopefully she’ll be home soon, but not for Easter unfortunately!  I hope she’s better soon.  The weather is bad today.  It’s cold and it’s snowy… in April.  It was like in the 70’s last week.  This is crazy.  No wonder why everybody is sick!

I’m still sick with an upper respiratory thing but it’s getting better I think.  The NyQuil is kicking in though so I can’t stay up much longer to type.

I’m so happy at myself today though – I honestly thought I would never get in to WSU!  My last semester at WCCC wasn’t that great and I thought it would adversely affect me.  I guess it didn’t!!
