I am a democrat!

I am a democrat, always have been, always will be.  I could not vote for Barack Obama, as my democratic candidate.  So instead of not voting, I gave my vote to the next best thing, John McCain.

My reasons aren’t because he’s black… for cripes sake, he is half white so that should make no difference anyway.  My issue with Barack, that most of America has apparently gone blind too, are his serious lack of experience, his ties to shady people, his feelings towards Israel, etc.  His wife is another story…. she is only just now proud of her country because they made Barack an acceptable candidate for president.  He barely denounced that freak Rev. Wright, who shouldn’t even be called a revern.  He has ties to terrorism in more ways than one.  The only reason people voted him in is because of his “celebrity” status.  He’s young, handsome (to some), and appeals to the younger crowd.   He is NEW, he has no business running this country… yet.  He has had less than one term in the senate, has made NO decisions in congress that he initiated or anything.  He has done NOTHING to prove his worth as a president.  This is why I don’t understand why he was elected.  Here you have John McCain with a proven record, devotion to his country in many more ways than one.  I just don’t understand!

I just hope with all of this our country can recover from the serious times we are going through.  I don’t see him lasting for a 2nd term if he doesn’t do something extraordinary.  Ah well…. as usual, life goes on.
