Today was my 7th anniversary!  Hooray… only 3 more til the big “10th”!   Most of the day was a waste though, but it as to do with yesterday!  Yesterday I woke up in a heck of a lot of pain. I had this sore on my gums that would not go away.  The whole right side of my face was swollen and it hurt so bad to even smile.  I had an appointment with my doctor this Monday, but I figured I couldn’t wait that long.  I called the clinic and they got me in about an hour later.  Well, while I was in there she said it had progressed into a pretty bad infection. She was showing a physicians assistant student that was with her why it looked so bad.  She said you could immediately tell because the right side of my face was droopy.  Anyway, she prescribed me some Augmentin (super powerful antibiotic), and some Darvocet’s for the pain.  Darvocets suck so who knows how much i’ll go through of those.  They didn’t seem to help.  Anyway, because of my horrible ability to sleep she prescribed me some Ambien CR and because of my upcoming flight I got some Lorazapam.  She told me to take each one yesterday so I could see how it would affect me before I got on the flight.  Well I’m not real sure at this point… something happened but I don’t know which one caused what.  The Ambien did it’s job at night, but the problem was, is that I didn’t wake up until almost 4p.m. today!!!  Yesterday though, I took the Lorazapam and I was kinda loopy for most of the day.  Chris was sick today, so I have a feeling that I might have actually been sick but not really known it… why? Because when Matt and I were on our way to dinner tonight, I vomited five times out of nowere into a bag.  I hadn’t eaten since the day before so nothing was there to come up.  All that came up was this nasty yellow (acid-less) liquid… it had no taste either.  Gross!    I kinda felt better after that.  Aside from that I had been dragging my feet around all day kinda miserable.  I was like… if this is how Ambien makes you feel the next day there is no way in heck i’m taking it again.  So I don’t know if it was the Lorazepam, the antibiotics or the Ambien in combination that made me feel this way or not.  I’ll do one at a time this week to test it out, not all 3 in one day.  The doc did say that taking them in combination would not hurt me, but would make me feel like sitting in a corner and stare at people with a blank look!

So anyhow, we went to Long Horn steakhouse for our dinner tonight and it was soooooooo nice without kids!  I didn’t know they do a free dessert for anniversaries as well!  After we finished our food they brought us a dessert of our choice, cheesecake with strawberries… and I got a rose!  I love that restaurant!!  We know all the staff and they were so happy we got out without the kids for once!

Only 3 more days until we leave for the UK… the house is getting packed up and secured with cameras!  Yes we are freaks, we have 3 security cameras running at all times.  Especially with the market and a main road behind our house, it’s alwasy good to be safe.  I hope the weather is nice, but the forecase isn’t very promising!!
