Not much going on around here today.  The weather was soooooooo nice.  I am looking forward to the weekend because it’s going to be sunny and very mild.  The  trains are going to be at the Kiwanis park so we are going to take Chris and Andrew there to ride them.  They always enjoy it… and their free.  We always make a small donation, because it is worth it.

I got another win in the mail today.  Today’s win was from Maxim magazine.  We got a Creative xMod thingy, a pair of $100 ear buds from creative (which work really well by the way!), lots of cd’s and a few movies.  Included in those is the 4th volume of Family guy and Miami Vice, which I gave to my sister.  I also gave my sister a couple cd’s that I got.   The stuff I am keeping and have already appeared on eBay are “You, Me, & Dupree”, “American Pie: The Naked Mile”, “Deep Sea Detectives” (History Channel), along with cd’s from the Dixie Chicks, Nelly Furtado, Gnarles Barkley, John Legend, Rihanna, and Beyonce’s new album “B’day”.  I’m selling each of the cd’s for $.99 and the movies for like $3.99.  I don’t care how much I make because I didn’t buy them so any extra is a bonus.  I don’t buy music either, I download it, so I have nowhere to even put them.

I have lots and lots of yard work to do this weekend though.  I planted 25 strawberry plants – which reminds me… I need to water them.  It’s 11:00 at night.  I know your not supposed to water anything after dark because the sun isn’t there to help evaporate it.  It needs to be done though in a minute.

I have to mow the lawn and rake my flower beds.  I can’t wait to get some flowers from the nursey to plant.  This year I refuse to buy impatients because they are just that… impatient.  If you don’t water them every single day them things die.. in a matter of hours!  This fall i’ll buy some nice bulbs for my back yard so I can have nice blooming flowers in the spring.
