14th Week

I’m gliding into my 14th week…. yippee! Time seems to be flying by so fast it’s unbelievable. Only 6 more weeks until I can find out the gender (officially!). If I had an ultrasound anytime between now and then, there is a likelihood I could find out the gender. For Christmas I want a 3D/4D Ultrasound. I’ve never had one of those, and I think it would be so remarkable to see the baby, and what it looks like a little over half way developed. Call me crazy, but even though I would know the sex, and what it would look like, birth is always still a surprise no matter what. Not to mention, they don’t always come out looking like the imagery, since they are so small when it’s done.
This week Ive developed a horrible gag reflex! It reminds me of when I was having Chris. If I see the slightest hair on my food plate, or get grossed out by anything, I have the need to vomit. Even thinking about it right now is making me feel sick. It won’t be long now before I won’t be able to do anything without falling ill. When I had Chris, during the last 4 months I could only go shopping for VERY limited times, because standing up in the store would make me feel dizzy and faintish.
I got my very first graded essay back the other day! I got a 9/10 points possible. I was quite amazed. The class average is 6/10, so I think I did really well. That equaled an A-. An excellent start for me. I wrote my paper on the first few hours after my grandpa’s death back in 2000. I was told at the bottom of my paper, “Nice dramatically written story”.
However, today I had my very first college test. I always go in knowing Im going to pass, and usually end up failing. That’s why destroyed me the last time I went to college. Sure enough, I get to problem 3 of 20 on my math exam, and I get stuck on it for 10 minutes. Thankfully we had almost 2 whole hours to finish 20 problems, but it sure was difficult… even for the amount of time Ive spent working on it and studying. I got done within an hour, and I went back and checked my answers. I’m praying I do well on this test, because I don’t want to let myself down.
