Tomorrow is Beth's 17th bday!

Well I started off my night by going to Julie’s and watching t.v. for a couple hours.  I always enjoy doing that.  It’s my only time away from home and my time for peace!!  Chris and Andrew have been extraordinarily bad the last couple weeks.  Screaming and carrying on.  They are playing like boys would play but it’s just soooooooo loud!  So i’m ending my night with some Jack Daniels and some Snickers ice cream… great combo.  I haven’t had a real drink in years and I have to say, after 2 shots i’m pouring buckets of sweat already!!
So what’s happened in the last couple weeks… well, Beth got her drivers license.  With some patience she managed to learn how to park within like 3 days.  Parking means, parallel, backing in, etc.  Of course, none of us are pros in parking, so she didn’t learn from the best.  Monday came around and she passed her test, surprisingly!  The night before we had practiced up at the test site and I was partially convinced she was able to pass… but before then I had no hope.  Yes chuck, you’re previous bouts of road rage had me a little worried!! :o)  So anyway, on Monday afternoon we went and sat for 3 ours at the Secretary of State’s office… never go on a Monday, ever!  She walked out a licensed driver though.  I still don’t think i’ll trust her parallel parking though!! he he.
Beth turns a whopping 17 years old tomorrow… boy how time flies.  I made her a Foamy the squirrel cake.  Foamy is a vulgar little squirrel that tells it like it is.
