So I would like to congratulate my son @[100078377596062:2048:Andrew Flavell] for graduating as an official combat medic for the United States Army from Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX!!!!! The ceremony was so honorable and the speeches were wonderful. The best part of the ceremony was when I believe his commander said, and I'm paraphrasing, "When you are out in that field, and you are saving the life of a fellow soldier and they look up to you and say, "Hey Doc", that's when you know how special you are." as he broke into tears. I'm so proud of him, and so glad I made the trip. I brought his girlfriend with me, who is very cool, and it made me feel so happy to see him in love and happy as well. Now he is off to the U.S. Army Ranger selection program at Fort Moore in Georgia!
