So I started doing the dashing thing where all of my dashing proceeds or going towards business ventures and emergency funds and I'm having a lot of fun. I mainly stay in South Brevard county and I could go into the Cocoa area which covers the air but Coco is a bad bad place.. but Cocoa Beach isn't and I can't pick between the two very easily but basically you go where the money's at and that's Viera, which is a different zone and Palm Bay is in a different zone so I have to choose one or the other. I won't do the Cocoa area unless Jason is with me at night especially. Between my first and second nights doing it I had so many stolen orders by other dashers. It was crazy.
Tonight I'm making about $20 an hour and I'm on till 11:00. I started at 5:30 p.m. I've been to Hooters, Taco Bell, straight out of Philly, Subway, and a few other places. But I tell you what sucks is the popular times the traffic is abominable LOL. I've always been a road warrior so I love driving around but there are bad neighborhoods. I bought this cool flashlight that doubles as a stun gun so I feel protected. I also have a co2 powered BB gun which I'm allowed to carry thankfully. You just never know who you're delivering to. The last guy was a total redneck, Confederate flag and all.
The good thing is is I'm seeing places I've never seen before and seeing restaurants I really want to try and that's cool. The bad thing is that everybody's a cheap tipper LOL.
I went in Hooters for the first time ever lol. Not what I was expecting… Families!
