We all need a vacation after what all of us have been through the past couple years. So, we are off to Puerto Rico in June!!!!! Our first family vacation, our girls first vacation to anywhere other than Michigan and Missouri. They've never been on a plane and I've never been to the tropics and Florida don't count! Never once have I considered going to Puerto Rico until I discovered it was cheaper to have a really nice tropical vacation than for us to rent a car, drive to Michigan, pay for all that gas, a hotel, a camping cabin an feeding my family. We are staying in Fajardo, PR on the Eastern side of PR near the El Yunque rainforest where we booked a guided tour so that we can swim in waterfalls, cliff dive and rope swing into the waters. Yeah I can't see me doing that but just for stupid pictures I probably will 🙂 We have a rental car so we can drive around and explore on our own too. Here's some pics of where we're staying, which is an AirBnB on the 21st floor with views of the Caribbean and the hills and rainforest behind it! Once a year I would like to travel to somewhere exotic. I've been to Europe a bunch of times, Jason as well, been there, done that, so it's time to go further.
We still plan on heading up to Michigan for the labor day Mackinac Bridge walk though!!
