Anywho… in today's news… Ava and I came up with a potential 501(c)(3) non-profit called Charms for Charity. It's exactly as it says except, it's all homemade. In my case, in the kiln/furnace i'll fire either PMC's (precious metal clays) or use molten silver or copper to create charms for whatever ideas can be contributed. Jason has a nifty new 3d printer, so I can imagine there's no limit to what we can do. I just have to file the non-profit here in FL and do the IRS stuff, and I'll be that. If anyone wants to be involved if you are a jeweler, in jewelry, design jewelry, crafting, silversmiths, metalworking, or even polymer clay artists, the money that would be raised would go towards the needs of children, especially those who have lost someone to covid-19, fostered children, children of abusive parents, and promote children in art more. Ideas are endless. The details are minimal at the moment, and it takes a lot of planning and thought, but anyone who wants partnered in the organization i'll welcome it! I already have the site charmsforcharity.org but haven't set it up yet.
