Local family will be happy to know I'm properly splinted by the hospital now. Long story but last Dec I passed out and my ring finger caught my fall, stretched completely backwards and tore something in my hand that has been badly painful. The hospital then gave me a hand splint not protecting the finger and I kept re-smashing it on accident. I'm still waiting on a referral to a hand specialist, but with a half hard cast-like splint, I can do less damage. I'm not sure how well I can play our weekly card games after dinner but I'll figure it out lol.
