Ok to add more fabulosity to my very alone 30 hour, 900+ mile road trip, where I didn't pack a single bag or even take my "good" camera because it's getting fixed again, I still managed to catch some lightning, even though I missed our first real lightning event here in FL. 3 bolts, .3 seconds long each, and they were actually purple. I did not enhance the purpley-ness of these photos. One photo of one building has a reflection of a bolt in progress, and a couple others are where the bolt lit up the building before coming into my view. I say what do you get when your up shits creek without your paddle, and you get Samsung Galaxy Note II pics through a rain coated skyscraper window, so some are distorded, LOL.
