Heading out to the Cape Canaveral-ish area to camp out for the Atlas 5 rocket launch, gonna do some photography of the launch. In this case, it sucks to only have one camera. I want to do a long exposure of the launch, but also want short exposures. Night time launches are supposed to be spectacular, we'll see. Of course, weather is great, but who knows, last minute there could be some battery failure that will cancel the whole thing. Launch window is 3:04a.m. – 5:04a.m. Now…. where to camp out!! I'm thinking the causeway to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge if they'll let us… but not sure!
