I could fall asleep for a while right now! Matt got his official offer letter today from his last company Computer Associates. Officially he's a principle consultant engineer. You can't ask for better, work from home + travel, much better medical benefits, six figures, and really makes both our lives a lot better. We both needed this to happen. Now we can use less gas, I can go to lunch with my BFF without kids (lol), Matt don't have to worry about calling off for my appointments anymore, Matt don't have to dress up anymore, ha ha, etc. He worked from home with this company 3 years ago for 3 whole years and regretted leaving for GE. He starts Oct. 8th, but won't actually do any work probably until close to December after a small training thing in Sunnyvale, CA sometime in November. This makes everyone's lives around me better too. When we are more accessible, that makes others happy! I can't say I'm thrilled about his travel, but hey, there has to be some concessions somewhere from everyone 🙂 Having a good day today though. I got to drive through some awesome lightning this morning for an hour.
