A few weeks ago a random tweet from some firm hinted at a rumor that Amazon.com might open a software development center in Detroit, which soon because the buzz on the news. Soon after that a random job posting appeared looking for a software engineer in Detroit. A few weeks later, tomorrow, Matt is interviewing in front of 8 people in a hotel room in Southfield for this elusive position that doesn't exist yet. Amazon has sworn him to secrecy, sent him study materials and company info… so here's hoping he survives his interview tomorrow! Hey, I wonder if there are employee discounts? I'd be in heaven then!
