Matt's sister announced she was engaged on Christmas day. She told me they are planning a July wedding in Warwick, England. There's only one problem, she wants to schedule it the day the London 2012 Olympics start. We want to go, and she has said she wants the girls and boys to be flower girls and page boys with a reception at Warwick Castle, but because of the olympics….kiss goodbye my prospects for a Disney cruise because we'll have to shell out over $6,000 in airfare alone for 2 adults, 3 children and one infant. It sucks, before 9/11 airfare was cheap, now international tickets are half ticket/half fees and twice as much. Add in the fact that brits don't know the meaning of family travel and no hotels accomodate large families and minivans are rare, add in some more thousands and convert it to british pounds and you are generally screwed twice as bad. We'll make it work as usual I'm sure, it's time to go back anyway, I just wish I had more than 6 months to plan.
