Cinco de Mayo is my 10th wedding anniversary… so how do we celebrate? Italian food @ Giovanni's! No Tijuanas or Mexican Gardens! Giovanni's is like a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough – literally that few around here know about but yet is so close. Shady neighborhood on Oakwood in Detroit about 15 minutes away, but such a fancy place with awesome food! There are good places downriver, but nothing can really compare to Giovanni's!
