Another long August post!
Ok well dinner didn’t go ok, but i’m still fine. I had some mashed potatoes and that was about it. I made beef stroganoff which is beef & noodles as well as some other ingredients. I’ve never been well with beef and noodles are iffy at times. That’s ok for now though!
Sometime this week I need to get down to whatever Secretary of State office is still open around here and do the Cavalier’s registration. It’s still registered under my grandpa’s birthday, but he’s been gone now for 6 years. Someday we will get that changed. That car’s registration isn’t that much of course. I dread getting the registration for the ’06 Town & Country Touring. On our ’05 model it was almost $200 for registration. That one will show up in September probably. Both our birthdays are in October and I can’t remember right off hand which birthday it’s under.
I am sitting here messing with one of our computers. I was trying to install Windows XP Pro x64 edition, and of course it’s one my downloads. Well the problem is that the stupid person who uploaded it neglected to mention it was uncracked. So after spending an hour installing it, I had to reinstall my other pirated cracked copy of XP Pro. I have a 64 bit processor, but under a 32bit operating system it’s only using half it’s capabilities. I found another copy i’m downloading though – maybe it’ll be ready by tomorrow and I can fool with it. One thing I hate is spending my evenings messing with computers. I have this bumper sticker on my wall that says, “TOO ERR IS HUMAN, to really f*** things up requires a computer”… and that statement is too true.
Well let’s see the week is a bit better than last week for sure. I still have a lingering cold, but it’s not too bad. It woke me up last night, but it is getting better.
We had fun at the zoo the other day. My grandma didn’t want to go this time, but that was ok. Chris was really excited to go, and Andrew was fascinated by all the animals. I think their favorite area was the aquarium. I”ll post some pictures when I have the energy too.
I’m kinda laying in bed at the moment typing because i’m recovering from a rather horrifying experience for myself. I was cleaning the kitchen this morning and when I finished that I went into the living room to vacuum. When I was done I sat down, and all of a sudden I was profusely sweating. Then I got this watery feeling in my mouth and the urge to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and bent over and I had these horrible dry heaves – they were so violent it hurt really bad. Keeping in mind that it is next to impossible for me to vomit in the first place, it really hurt. I thought for sure I was going to slip my band or something. It would stop either, it lasted about 5 minutes. Oh man I never want that to happen again. Of course nothing came out 1) because it really can’t come out 2) because I haven’t eaten since yesterday so there’s probably nothing in there to come out. I cannot figure out why out of the blue this happened. I’m fine now, but i’m laying here with pain in my stomach. Wretching can slip a band, and then i’d have to have surgery again, which I do not want. I tried to eat by having a cookie and that went down ok, so I guess all is well. The real test will come when I attempt to eat dinner later. For now i’m just worn out and a bit uncomfortable. For a normal person it doesn’t sound too bad but when you have an implanted band and tubing going everywhere, as well as a port device it can get bad. I’m fairly well wired inside. For those of you who have no idea what i’m talking about:
So essentially my stomach is choked off.
Anyhow, when I drag myself out of bed I have to go to my grandma’s and deliver my sister her copy of my netflix movies. Yeah, I do all the wrong things. I copy movies, I download pirated software… but it’s what I like to do.
I’m working on uploading some more stupid movies. I have hours and hours of footage and goofing off that I want to upload. I have one particular one where Paul & Matt are setting off fireworks, and it landed on someone’s house that is quite funny. It takes time though, and i’m working on it, along with editing my friends birth video.
If someone were to ask me if there was anything on the computer I can’t do.. the answer would be…. programming. I do networking, video editing, photography, web site design, repair, installations, tweaking, etc. I consider myself an expert at spyware and viruses though. There really isn’t much I don’t know about computers. It’s funny because I always wanted to be a computer programmer and when it came down to it, I couldn’t stand it. It’s Mr. Wisnieski’s fault in high school. All because he wanted me to program a faucet dripping, and I had so much difficulty doing it!
