Anna Nicole Smith

I was shocked to hear today that she died.  My first suspicion was that it was the methadone, the same drug her son died from.  It was just yesterday I seen her interview on Entertainment Tonight and both her and her (whatever) Howard both looked very doped up.

I have always been a fan of Anna Nicole ever since her reality show came on the air.  I think she’s pretty, funny, and very smart.  I relate to her mostly because she gained a lot of weight and was a plus size model for a while until slimming down again.  Her life has been nothing but hell for her.

I can’t help but think that Howard had a lot to do with it.  As most of the news shows have said, he’s a shady character.  He is an attorney with one client (Anna) and he has been clinging to her for years.  I suspect mostly because he’s waiting for the $$$ from her deceased husband.  I feel very sorry for the infant involved because not only is she siblingless, but she also has no mother, and the father is up in the air.  Everybody knows Larry Birkhead is the father.  Howard K. Stern just wants her because whoever has her has the inheritance.  This is playing out like Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events…. where Count Olaf is trying his hardest to get the kids’ inerhitance and ends up trying to marry the girl to get the money.

Anyhow, tomorrow night Matt comes home thank god… well at least until Monday morning.  He has to be at the airport at 4a.m. on Monday morning.  I’m not driving him, Paul will…. hopefully.  Only one more week left.  Then he’s working from home for the first week.  This job he has sounds excellent because he could work from home if he needed too.

The kids are driving me nuts… but I have managed well.  I didn’t think I could get through without him but I did.  I do hate sitting here alone at night.  The kids and I chatted over webcam & voip a while ago.

I applied to Wayne State University a few weeks ago and i’m hoping for a reply soon.  I put down my major as pre-law…. so hopefully I can get in.

I went to Barnes & Noble this evening and bought a few books on pirates.  I can’t find anything directly to history of the Caribbean so the only way to find out is reading about pirates.  I’m interested in the trading that went on and other things.
