Woo! A Win!

Earlier I was notified by Spa Week that I won a day spa package.  Nobody but me can understand how wonderful this sounds right now, at a time like this with all that is going on with my help.  Coincidentally it was a “National Wellness Giveaway”… hey, maybe they could throw some wellness at me.  With a pregnancy, a huge tumor growing next to the baby, fresh out of gastric bypass, dealing with all of this is stressful for sure.  I don’t know when I can use the prize, the rules state it’s good until 12/31, but some spas have rules regarding pregnancy and other medical conditions.  If I can’t use it now, boy, i’m sure it will come in handy.  I have never been to a spa.  I spend a lifetime giving giving giving, and now it’s my time to take a few hours and relax.  Maybe it will improve my outlook on life… who knows!  I have already sent back all the stuff they wanted, now I wait to hear from the spa I suppose.  I’m always good about that.  I don’t win things often, but I make sure I get it right.

What else is going on… lets see.  Surgery is still scheduled for June 2nd.  I keep praying I don’t lose this baby, especially at 20 weeks. I hope it’s all meant to me.  I’m sure i’ll find out that day if I need any more crazy radiation or stuff like that.  I get to have my quad screen which comes with an ultrasound in about 2 1/2 weeks.  I can’t wait.
